...as it'll give you a little insight to us. I think its extremely important to know about the breeders family. Doing so can ease potential owners concerns. Besides, the way breeders live and interact go hand in hand with the development and temperment of the pups they inted to sell. It's not much different than raising children its just that the process is acelerated. A structured happy home with lots of interaction is important to dogs as much as it is for people.
We are very responsible and use the utmost care while raising our puppies. My family and I are truly concerned for the betterment of the breed and we want only those families that have the same concern and love to purchase a pup from us. We are very respected by all the owners of the first litter and they will be more than happy to be a reference if needed. We all have maintained contact over this last year and will continue to do so.
We reserve the right to decide whom we'll sell a puppy to. At anytime, if we feel we've been misled, lied to, made leery, or believe you don't have the puppy's best interest at heart, or the means to take care of the dog as its a great expense that goes beyond the purchasing price, we WILL NOT sell to you. I will sell a Mastiff only to a buyer whom I believe to be interested in the protection of the breed and who would agree in writing to provide the highest quality of care for said Mastiff, including quality food, water, proper shelter from heat or cold, active companionship, appropriate exercise, socialization and professional veterinary care whenever necessary.
For example, there are people who want a mastiff for dog fighting or uninformed individuals of what being a mastiff owner entails but think the breed is cool, or people that can't take care of their other animals but somehow believe they'll be able to provide for a mastiff, to name a few.
While its true we do make a profit selling mastiffs, its not what drives us to breed but instead its the fact that we want to produce high quality puppies that meet or exceed all AKC standards for potential show dogs and to enhance the overall health and diversity of the breed as a whole. We want to share our mastiffs with other animal lovers and let this breed give you the joy and companionship, which will transform your life as they seem so humanlike with humanlike actions and feelings.
If you're looking to purchase a mastiff, but want a bargin or a deal, please look somewhere else. Our asking price will be based on the size and quality of the Sire and Dam and the quality together they produce. Since we've already had a litter and have shared their photos in the blog, you can clearly see how well the first litter has grown and developed in 11 months. With no bias included (ok, very litte), the first litter is of great quality meeting and exceding the mastiff standard. And if those owners chose to, their mastiffs could easily be champions. Besides, your new puppy will be a member of your family for her/his lifetime and will be an investment with great returns.
Kai and Deuce are of Championship bloodlines and will be happy to produce the 5 generation pedigree upon request which you can also buy from AKC once you receive all the paperwork after your purchase.
In addition, I will maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity. I will not knowingly make a misstatement of fact in any serious discussion of my Mastiffs or the Mastiffs of any other Mastiff owner that I might have with persons not qualified to judge the fact for themselves. When its time to advertise my Mastiffs in any media (newspaper, internet websites, blog, etc.) I will not make false or misleading statements. I will only use a picture of another owners Mastiff with the owners express permission and I will clearly identify that Mastiff and the Mastiffs owner.
