The weather is so nice today and while its early and still relatively cool and before I get to my yard work chores, I decided to bring the pups outside for a while to start learning/exploring (the little that they can) the great outdoors. We live on over an acre of land on a hill overlooking a farm and woodlands (well the whole county actually). So the puppies have ample room to play and run. Begining next week, they will be moved to our outdoor kennel. Before my husband's knee surgery he added onto our old dog house, enlarged it quite a bit & put instalation between the sides of the house (for added warmth on cool nights) and the front door lifts open during the day & closes at night with a doggy door to enter/exit in one of the two kennels. He even went all out and added shingles to the roof. I promise they will be very comfortable and happy out there so they can play and run at will and my house inside can start getting back to normal. More about how they will be raised to come.
I will post a pic of the kennel soon. It still needs a paint job that I hope to get done in a couple days.
MAY 8-
I actually had enough time after my yard work yesterday to paint the dog house. I will be posting those pics later this evening or tomorrow.
